CHAPTER ONE
On a warm sunny day in October a tiny little kitten called Bobo was born. Bobo’s family lived in the city of MEOW in an apartment high up in the sky. Bobo was the youngest of three brothers and sisters called Paw, Meowedy and Cate. Bobo’s Dad worked in the food factory nearby, and her Mum worked in an office building with other cats that helped the MEOW police.
Time flew by and before they knew it it was Christmas. On Christmas morning Bobo was the last one to wake up because she had been so excited on Christmas Eve she stayed awake until 11.35pm. Her brothers and sister woke early though and left their basket before 6.00am to open their presents. At 7.30am Bobo finally woke up and saw the biggest present under the tree had her name on it. She was so excited. She quickly opened it with her claws. It was a MEOW Mix packet from her Dad’s work, and from her Mum a blow up Police Car to use in the pool.
Bobo had fun as a kitten and grew up quickly; soon enough she was five years old. Bobo was now at school. One day, in the middle of eating her lunch, a grey tabby tail jumped right up next to her. She recognised it as the cat that lived in the apartment above her family but she couldn’t remember the cat’s name. Bobo was a very young kitten when she went to visit them, too young to remember. Then the cat’s name came to her, it was Dinty. After that, Dinty and Bobo played together for the rest of the day and became good friends.
When Bobo and her brothers and sisters got home from school they all ran into their room to play with their toys. But when Bobo walked in she noticed her Mum looking out the window. Bobo asked her Mum what she was looking at and her Mum replied “An Agents of MEOW battle against a spider”. There were a whole lot of red and blue surrounding the enormous scary looking spider that was shooting venom out at the Agents. The Agents were in planes flying in the sky and there were Agents also fighting the spider on the ground. Right at that moment, Bobo saw a cat in a parachute flying past the window down towards the battle.
Bobo’s Mum didn’t want her to be frightened by the battle so she told her to go to her room. But Bobo could hear the fight as it continued on into the night. It was the biggest battle she had ever seen.
The next day the battle was over. It was Saturday, so Bobo went up to visit Dinty to ask “Did you see the battle last night?” Dinty replied “Yes!” in a very concerned voice. Bobo said to Dinty “One day I would like to be an Agent of Meow so I can fight in the next battle”. “Me, too “said Dinty.
